Welcome to the Herb Garden School of Cooking and B&B!
Whether you visit for an evening cooking class or stay for the weekend, you are sure to experience a special getaway. "Quaint, relaxing, calming" – are the usual descriptions of our home by guests.
Situated in the heart of beautiful Ashtabula County, this 1848 farmhouse has undergone many renovations and continues to show its charm. Hosts Chris and Paul Martello have made this their home for the past forty years. The house has been in the family for almost one hundred years. There are many interesting stories to tell about the house.
Guests can feel free to roam around the gardens, porches and bricked arbor area. There is an herb garden surrounding the kitchen to greet you. Be mesmerized by a windmill at the pond, or take a nap in a hammock under the pines.
Chris Martello, RD, LD is experienced in the field of nutrition and counseling for 18 years. She also has completed Chef Training from the Paganini School of Cooking in Chesterland, Ohio.
