It doesn't get any better than last week's class. There were old and new friends here for our "Super Foods" class. The laughter and excitement started with the first group of girls that entered my "class room."
Even though I believe my dad got really tired of eating the various testing of salmon recipes, Paul and I were pleased with the results at class. It is a good sign when every bit was eaten!
The dietitian in me wants everyone to leave with some new information to take home with them to live a little healthier. We have incorporated a new 3x5' wipe-off board to review some of these nutrition notes. I tried it out in the past two classes.
It is so easy to get involved with all the details of teaching cooking and having the class move smoothly that I may have missed these points at times. Props, that's the key!
I'm looking forward to seeing what I can do with next week's class - Fast and Healthy. That topic is always a popular one.
