It's time to gear up for culinary classes here again! This summer we've seen a great increase in our B&B reservations. Between guests, gardening, and biking, it was hard to focus on more classes.
I've been on the road teaching "Dining With Diabetes" with my friend Kathi French. It is awesome working with her. Since spring we've been to Linesville, Mercer, Sharon and currently Meadville, PA. It is such a worthwhile project!
On Saturday, Sept. 27 it is back to culinary classes back here at the Herb Garden School. Class starts @ 6:30 pm, with coffee & teas ready at 6pm. Our B&B guests for the weekend have chosen: Marvelous Makeovers
for the class and we are opening up the remaining seats to the public. Dishes we'll be demonstrating: Hoisin-Glazed BBQ Ribs, Mixed Vegetable Grill w/Roasted Garlic Marinade, Twice-Baked Potatoes and Light Lemon Cheesecake. We'll share tips to making these favorite dishes considerably healthier.
Then, on Saturday, Oct. 11, also @ 6:30 pm we're gearing up for: Saturday to Remember. This class will feature Cajun-Spiced Smoked Shrimp, Minted Romaine & Blue Cheese (or Feta) Salad w/Pecans, Grilled Flatbread with Roasted Red-Pepper Sauce and Crème Brulee! So much flavor!! We have a limited number of seats since again we have guests which have selected the class dishes.
