My Blog

"Food becomes you!  You take that bite and the food starts to break down and feed your body; eventually it changes your body and becomes part of you."
That was the discussion I had yesterday with my 9 year old grandson.  His answer, "Why would you not want arms and be this yogurt cup?"  Cute, he's getting to the age where he is making up jokes.
This discussion continued at our "Cooking in the Raw" class last night.
Guests seemed much more interested to learn about the benefits of good wholesome food than my grandson at the moment.  We talked about enzymes being the lifeforce of food, how they help with digestion and cause other reactions to happen.  Over processing can destroy enzymes, the essential molescules in the digestive process.
Guests shared their sushi stories.  Some tried it for the first time and others (like Stacy) had a passion for it.  Personally, I "lived it" for a couple weeks and it became me!  Moving on.  Again, nice people entered through our door last night.  If this house could talk it would tell the best stories.
Martello Photography was here, she doubled as my assistant.  She was trying out her new camera and will have photos up on our website soon. Thanks to Heather.
